Boxing national teams from all over Europe will compete under the aegis of the Hellenic Boxing Federation

February 1999 * 5th International Cycling Tour of Rodos

National teams from all over Europe, including well known European Professional teams will participate in this 4-day cycling tour

FISHING

No licence required. Line or trolling. The best fishin.g grounds are reputed to be off Kamiros Skala, Kalithea, Lindos and Ciennadi. Spear fiishing permitted but fish speared must be over 15Ogr (5oz). Some deep-sea fishing boats moor opposite St. Katherine's Gate and may take along fishermen on their trips. HIKING

Hiking in Rodos in the winter is a most enjoyable experience. Choose a clear, sunny day and take any of the routes as suggested by GNTO. There are 15 routes in map. Walkers will be amazed by the wealth of flora. Wild flowers, aromatic herbs and bushes, and coniferous forests with pine, cypress and cedar. Best walk is from Embona to the top of the mountain.
