Visitors in Rodos between November and March have the opportunity to attend the following festivals, festivities & events:

| 7 November | Archangel Michael’s Day, Symi island Pilgrimage to the nearby island of Symi (aprox. 2 hrs by boat). Visitors have to opportunity combine their visit in Rodos with a day excursion to this beautiful small island |
| 14 November | Konstantine Hydraios Day The Rodos City Patron’s Saint Day. Morning service at the church of the Presentation of the Virgin Mary and procession of the icon. Parade in the city centre, where among others, participate all Bishops of the Dodecanese in their formal costumes |
| 24-25 December | Christmas Eve & Christmas Day Christmas is a spectacular sight in Rodos as the city’s centre is lit up with thousand of lights. Visitors will be amazed by the way the medieval city walls are lit. Carolling in the streets by small children is a tradition. Christian & catholic churches celebrate with special services on Christmas Eve and on Christmas Day. Special gala evenings in many hotels. Live holy mangers are organized at the villages of Maritsa & Salakos. |

| 6 January | Epiphany Day. Special service in the church of Evangelismos. Blessing of the Sea water. Thousand of people participate in this special ceremony at Mandraki Harbour |
| 1 March | Carnival Day A feast that nobody should miss! A carnival fiesta taking place within the medieval city. Happenings, latin music, folklore, street theatre, popular Greek singers, carnival parade, medieval music and theatre. Thousand of attendants. A real fun for every age. The same day there are carnival parades at Ialyssos, Afandou and Kalithies. |
