The knights of Rhodes
Initialy a religius and military order founded in Gerusalem as the St. John' s Hospital order in 7th s. B.C. They took part in all the wars in the Holly Land against the mouslims. In 1308 they moved to the island of Rhodes and in 1529, after surrendering the city to the Turks, moved to Malta and then, in 1834, to Rome.
